Paul J. Elberse

Has a distinguished international track record as executive, investor and deal-maker on 4 different continents, and has been Director of several banks, payment networks, an insurance company, stock exchanges, a private pension fund, as well as companies with a more entrepreneurial DNA. Complex re/structurings, the configuration of cross-cultural partnerships, and angel & seed capital are some of his more noteworthy and preferred professional activities.

Diego Melazzi

Held significant roles in numerous PE deals and actively participated in setting the course for corporations in the region as a manager for McKinsey & Co. and as a director of Ficus Capital. From the north of Chile, to the South of Argentina and to Brazil’s Amazonia region, he has participated in deals exceeding 700 million dollars, covering leading companies in the supermarket, railways, renewable energy, consumer goods, transport, financial services and food sectors.

Augusto Gonçalves

Held senior positions in multinational corporations in insurance and wealth management in different continents, has ample experience in project development, and is a driving force in the renewable energy activities of Ficus. He has been working on wind projects in Argentina, ranging from greenfield to contracted parks: Ficus is developing a portfolio of projects in excess of 1,200 MW. Areas like financial services, real estate and hydro carbon are some of his focus sectors.

Mathias Möhrpahl

Has structured trans-national deals related to renewable energies, with a special focus on photo-voltaic projects and wind in the different Mercosur countries. Mathias has worked with international banks on asset management activities, and on transactions in food and beverage, and transportation and has a strong link in the network amongst European and US investors due to his European background and Miami base.

Corina Bravi

Is a business lawyer focus on advising companies on the structuring of energy and infrastructure projects. Among others, Corina advises on the development of new renewable projects and in their relationships with suppliers and regulators. She intervenes in contracts for the supply of electricity, as well as contracts for the construction, services and supply of equipment. Her objective is to always find the way for the business to be carried out.

Luisa Rivas

Is an environmental engineer with an international experience in large civil works, including ports, roadways, viaducts and tunnels with TBM excavation. Luisa through her training and personal interest, provides a fresh view as to the environmental and social impact of large infrastructural and energy projects.

Valeria Castillo

Is a professional in Finance and International Affairs with experience in business valuations and M&A processes, as well as a deep knowledge of the Andean countries. She has developed a strong expertise in financial analysis, scenario analysis and projections and has managed transactions in the infrastructure & logistics sectors, industrials, financial services and energy project developments. Valeria is a socially-oriented person, bringing new ideas and ESG expertise to our team, including best practices in impact investment processes.
